We're a specialist recruitment business focused on civils, infrastructure, and trades. We work with contractors who need reliable people — and operatives who want to work with contractors worth their time.
Who we are
Fisher Group was founded on a straightforward premise: construction recruitment is too often done by people who don't understand construction. We set out to change that.
We focus on the South of England, working across civils and infrastructure, groundworks, and the full range of trades. Our consultants know the industry — the roles, the tickets, the project types, and what a good placement actually looks like on the ground.
We're not a volume business. We'd rather place the right person once than send three candidates who don't fit. That approach takes longer to build, but it's the reason contractors come back to us.

We tell clients what we can deliver and candidates what to expect. No overselling, no vague commitments. If we can't help, we'll say so.
Compliance without shortcuts
Every operative we place is verified — CSCS, right-to-work, trade tickets. We don't cut corners on compliance because the consequences fall on our clients.
Sector knowledge
We recruit in construction because we understand it. Our consultants know the difference between a groundworker and a civil engineer, and what each project type demands.
Long-term relationships
We're building a business on repeat work and referrals. That only happens if we do the job properly — so we do.
Where we operate
Fisher Group operates across the South of England, covering London, the Home Counties, the South East, and the South West. We work with contractors on projects ranging from small residential groundworks packages to major infrastructure schemes.

Nigel Fisher
Nigel founded Fisher Group on the belief that construction recruitment should be done by people who actually understand construction. He sets the standards the business operates to.
Operations Director
Tom Fisher
Tom oversees day-to-day operations and client relationships. He brings a hands-on understanding of what contractors need and makes sure Fisher Group delivers on its promises.
